Marking the 6th anniversary of Canvas, this issue’s Zaha Hadid special feature is split into four sections: The Person, The Architect, The Designer, The Future Projects. In addition, we review the Qatar Museums Authority’s exhibition in collaboration with Magnum which premieres at Doha’s cultural village and take a look at the eighth edition of Frieze Art Fair. Our art patron section highlights our discussion on contemporary Middle Eastern art with Lord and Lady Palumbo and while in Europe we stop by MAXXI museum in Rome. In New York, Canvas explores the Lombard Freid Projects for Middle Eastern artists abroad and Nicky Nodjoumi writes about the city that never sleeps and compares it with his second home, Tehran.
