This issue’s cover features Uzbek artist Yunus Farmonov’s painted interpretation of artist duo Hylozoic / Desires’s (Himali Singh Soin & David Soin Tappeser) project, in collaboration with Rasuljon Mirzaakhmedov from the Margilan Crafts Development Centre, for the upcoming Bukhara Biennial. The work reflects the dynamic exchange, rich heritage and craftsmanship found along the Silk Road.
