Issue 13-6

November - December 2017

After ten years of anticipation, the time has come and we celebrate the unveiling of Louvre Abu Dhabi. With this big event, this issue delves into the theme of transformation of the art world as we know it, with other perspectives of the kinds of spaces, and landsapes, art should occcupy. Whether that’s a former grain silo complex in Cape Town (Zeitz MOCAA) housing the largest collection of contemporary African art to date, MoMA deciding to temporarily send its permanent collection to Fondation Louis Vuitton or Skulptur Projekte in Münster which is only held once every ten years. In addition to exploring these new spaces and events, we fly from country to country for our known recurring events, from Contemporary Istanbul to Frieze London to FIAC Paris and Beirut’s first design fair.
