Issue 1-1

Over the past year, founder Ali Y. Khadra and the Mixed Media Publishing team have worked on creating this first issue of Canvas magazine, with the goal to bring the region’s art and culture to the world’s attention. In this issue Canvas travels the world, inaugurating with one of the region’s most active art patrons, HE Sheikha Hussah Al-Sabah and featuring avid promoters of Middle Eastern art such as Mr. Saeb Eigner as well as local artists such as Emirati Abdul Kadir Al-Rais.
